Cochabamba
querida

WITHOUT A BRA, CARLA LOOKS BAREFOOT AND HER BEAUTY SHOWS THROUGH WITH HER NAKED
BODY UNDERNEATH
To remember the 14th of September,
the anniversary of the brother department of Cochabamba, is to pay homage to
the revolution, to bear witness to its heroes who bequeathed their blood for
this promising land.
It was on the 14th of September 1810
when the leader Don Esteban Arce, who was born in Tarata (1770), accompanied by
Francisco del Rivero and a group of brave patriots organised the capture of the
royalist barracks, a symbol of the power and totalitarianism of the Spanish
Crown, an event that led to the establishment of a revolutionary government and
the beginning of the struggle for nearly 15 years until total independence was
achieved throughout the country in 1825.
As part of this struggle for
independence, a group of women barricaded themselves in the hill of San
Sebastián, in a place known as La Coronilla, and fought a valiant battle
against the enemy army. For three hours the royalist soldiers fired at the
revolutionaries on four sides, killing 30 of them. Today, people all over the
world are asking what happened to these brave spirits? The answer is emphatic:
they died on the field of honour.
BORN IN COCHABAMBA, Carla Alejandra
Ortiz Oporto, in December 1978.
Outstanding film and soap opera actress. She studied Fine Arts, Cinema
and Theatre. She acted in the Mexican soap operas: "Mujeres
engañadas", "Secreto de amor" and others. In the cinema, she has participated in the
films: "Che Guevara", "Los Andes no creen en Dios",
"Escríbeme postales a Copacabana", "Los Olvidados" (as
producer and co-star) among the best known.
Carla Ortiz (the artist illustrates
this chronicle dressed in a very low-cut black garment without a bra, through
the attire with her body naked on the inside. She lives in Los Angeles, USA,
where she owns the restaurant "Churros Calientes" and works in film
and television), today she is in Bolivia, working on the film LA REINA DEL SUR.
In the photo inside, Carla looks very beautiful, wearing a very low-cut white
shirt tied at the waist with a lot of bare skin underneath.
Today Cochabamba, with its avenues,
green areas and cultivated groves, parks, meadows and gardens, backwaters of
lakes, is the garden of Bolivia, populated with carob, willow, kapok and
tarcos, whose expanded leaves are the home of musical birds. It is also the
menu to please the palates of the world; it is the magical nature of the
Chapare; it is art, culture, tourism, anthropology and more.
At the foot of its friendly trunks,
eucalyptus-scented bread ovens are built to mitigate the appetite of sturdy
labourers, along with the "chicha buena" that gladdens hearts and
stokes friendships. It has the largest open-air market in South America, called
La Cancha. In its neighbourhoods there are different fairs that contribute to
the development of the department. In recent years, important reserves of
natural gas have been found in Cochabamba, making it one of the main producers
of this energy source.
The people of Cochabamba are proud
to have been born in this flowery valley, cradle of great personalities who
changed the history of the country, such as Simón I. Patiño, Adela Zamudio and
others. Patiño, Adela Zamudio, Augusto Céspedes, Augusto Guzmán, Jaime Laredo,
among many others. Their culture is based on their beliefs, traditions and
customs. Among its pilgrimages of faith is one of the most important religious
festivals in Bolivia.
Bolivia. We are referring to the
Virgin of Urkupiña, also known as the "patron saint of national
integration", which brings together Catholics and foreign visitors,
immersing themselves in the duality of a religious celebration, as an authentic
expression of Bolivian religiosity and culture.
The llajta is and always will be the
reference point of the country's garden city: an articulating heart for the
unity of Bolivians and the progress of all.
