Claudia, recoge la luz del sol al despuntar la mañana ruidosa de pájaros, cuando el verdinegro de las hojas resume los extremos del matiz en los colores, entre ese encendido de colores rojos fuertes en tonos variados, y los blancos de la sombra que las mismas ramas crean en torno suyo, en el enorme escenario creado por Dios. Es la luz que viene del levante y es la sombra que agoniza en el poniente.
Ahí está lo humano en la espátula, el pincel y la paleta de Claudia, cuando la sonrisa puede dejar caer una lágrima, a donde la vida se interpretada por la luz solar, los árboles, el mar, las flores. Esta artista agudiza el ingenio, suaviza las manos, ensaya las variaciones y pasa del impresionismo al realismo y, luego a la abstracción.
Lo más sobresaliente —que es producto del talento y la técnica suya— es cómo Claudia dibuja con la espátula. Tiene la habilidad y la concepción que mana de los grandes pintores para llevar a sus trabajos la línea perfecta de su inspiración a la que más tarde le añadirá el toque cromático, cuando así se los pida el tema.
El trabajo que cumple Claudia, ante la riqueza de la imagen en el lienzo es desafiante, no es una mera transformación cromática de sus ideas, son la constante búsqueda de la obras por intermedio de una firme decisión de llegar a la última espatulada con el convencimiento de que su cuadro sí está terminando, pulido, casi perfecto. A eso le llamo una y mil veces pulcritud y profesionalismo.
Claudia enciende en su mente ese fuego que se transforma, eternamente, para dar paso a la profundidad del color. La naturaleza es el centro de su impenetrable incógnita, cautivada por el sortilegio del misterioso rojo. Lo infinito está siempre próximo a su creación. La metáfora del océano interior, con sus naufragios, atardeceres, alboradas y hasta con un rítmico agitar de alas de gaviotas, son visiones traídas desde la niñez a lomo de grandes recuerdos.
A través de una camisa blanca delgada y muy escotada que viste sobre su piel desnuda, Claudia se sumerge afanosa en el lienzo que dará vida a una pintura. Concentrada en el equilibrio del caballete, el pincel remarca la calidad del color adquirido para concluir estampando su firma.
¡Océanos de pasiones! Aguas tranquilas. Aguas que rebasan. Aguas que se anegan. Lo poético y lo dramático, surgiendo desde ese mismo escenario de agua perdida en el horizonte besándose en el cielo. Claudia tomó el aire de sombra en la inquietud del erial. Los pájaros abrieron sus alas más allá de la circunferencia de su vuelo, y en la suma de elementos llevados al lienzo, todo el espacio entró en movimiento al impulso de la mirada singular de la joven artista, asomada a los sueños que ya veían la realidad en los párpados y el despertar que se hacía cercano a la conquista de un etilo prolijo.
Claudia sumó su nombre a una generación de pintores de ideas nuevas en una renovación de espíritu y arte, hoy reconocidos como una transición de lo reiterativo en pos de nuevas sensaciones plásticas.
Las perspectivas no se pierden en esa su carrera creativa. Las pinturas con ese apasionado rojo vuelven a transformarse en imágenes sugerentes. Sus cuadros ya tienen una razón de ser en la tela, porque de allí surgen sus destacadas obras.
Las ideas alinean y los ojos toman mirada arquitectónica para construir las nuevas figuras de pronto convertidas en rostros e imágenes que representan muchas circunstancias, y otros vuelos de imaginación y arte refinado.
La purificación y exaltación del ser humano mostrando su calidad de artista plástica, reflejo de una escuela seriamente llevada a la concepción de la estética, se ubican en el alma de la artista tal como lo contempla en un día esperanzado o en una noche de paz.
Ya los colores surgen de la atmósfera. No existe analogía, sino estilo definido que identifica a la artista, pues Claudia conquistó la entrada a encontrar la veta, el filón que hoy permite ser reconocida, aun no estampe su firma. Hay en Balcázar similitud con sonrientes querubines de místicos artistas; todo es docilidad cromática sin influencia alguna, por esto se menciona la palabra artista.
Sus colores manejados con preciso conocimiento técnico, muestran su atractivo, surgido de la variedad de tonos y matices así como del acento de su intensidad. Bajo la superficie del desconcierto en la relación compositiva, yacen figuras enigmáticas que se transforman en auténticas imágenes bajo el proceso de recomposición que se opera en el acto de la contemplación.
Claudia Balcázar Amaya, es una de las pintoras bolivianas importantes de una nueva generación. De impecable oficio, su pintura la sitúa entre ese grupo reducidísimo de artistas que expresan valores y que los trascienden para convertirse en intérpretes universales.

Claudia, collects the sunlight at the dawn of the noisy morning of birds, when the green and black of the leaves summarizes the extremes of the hue in the colors, between that ignition of strong red colors in varied tones, and the whites of the shadow that the same branches create around him, on the enormous stage created by God.
It is the light that comes from the east and it is the shadow that is dying in the west. There is the human in Claudia's spatula, brush and palette, when a smile can drop a tear, where life is interpreted by sunlight, trees, the sea, flowers. This artist sharpens her wit, softens her hands, experiments with variations, and moves from impressionism to realism and then to abstraction.
The most outstanding thing —which is the product of her talent and her technique— is how Claudia draws with the palette knife. She has the ability and the conception that she emanates from the great painters to bring to her works the perfect line of her inspiration to which she will later add the chromatic touch, when the subject so requests.
The work that Claudia carries out, given the richness of the image on the canvas, is challenging, it is not a mere chromatic transformation of her ideas, it is the constant search for the works through a firm decision to reach the last spatula with the conviction that his painting is indeed finishing, polished, almost perfect.
That is what I call a thousand times neatness and professionalism. Claudia ignites in her mind that fire that transforms, eternally, to give way to the depth of color. Nature is the center of her impenetrable mystery, captivated by the spell of the mysterious red. The infinite is always close to her creation.
The metaphor of the inner ocean, with its shipwrecks, sunsets, dawns and even the rhythmic flapping of seagull wings, are visions brought back from childhood on the back of great memories. Oceans of passions! Calm waters. Waters that overflow Flooding waters. The poetic and the dramatic, emerging from that same scenario of water lost on the horizon kissing the sky. Claudia took in the air of shadow in the restlessness of the wasteland.
The birds spread their wings beyond the circumference of their flight, and in the sum of the elements taken to the canvas, the entire space began to move at the impulse of the unique gaze of the young artist, peering into the dreams that already saw reality. in the eyelids and the awakening that was close to the conquest of a neat style.
Claudia added her name to a generation of painters with new ideas in a renewal of spirit and art, today recognized as a transition from the repetitive in pursuit of new plastic sensations. Prospects are not lost on her creative career. The paintings with that passionate red are once again transformed into suggestive images. Her paintings already have a reason for being on the canvas, because that is where her outstanding works come from. The ideas align and the eyes take an architectural gaze to build the new figures suddenly converted into faces and images that represent many circumstances, and other flights of imagination and refined art.

ClauBalcázar Amaya, is one of the important Bolivian painters of a new generation. Of impeccable craft, her painting places her among that very small group of artists who express values and who transcend them to become universal interpreters.
