Nicia contesto el clásico cuestionario a la manera de Marcel Proust con seguridad y aplomo. En este largo cuestionario que permite entrever aquello de “caras vemos”, corazones no conocemos, conocemos más a la arista y ratificamos sus virtudes y nobleza como persona.

Artista plástica, con experiencia destacada como retratista, y por otra parte ex–modelo, Nicia María Cristina Pravicini Azero, nació (causalmente en Río de Janeiro por la actividad militar diplomática de su Padre, el Gral. Enrique Paravicini Calancha), el 5 de julio de 1959 (es boliviana por padres y ostenta la doble nacionalidad), bajo el signo zodiacal de Cáncer, por tanto en el importante itinerario de su vida se muestra hasta brillante y destacada como pintora y dibujante.
Ejemplar madre, hija, hermana y amiga. Me precio de contar con su amistad, una antigua amistad que nació en 1972. Modelo, no tanto de pasarelas, sino de publicidad de las mejores empresas de nuestro país. Cuando aquella cigüeña aterrizo en la ciudad de Río de Janeiro, Brasil, en una clínica de maternidad, nació Nicia de la unión conyugal del Gral. Enrique Paravicini Calancha, destacado militar y pintor, retratista y muralista, y de Blanca Azero Sanzetenea, una dulce y noble señora.
Pero la sorpresa de su alumbramiento entreveraba un valor agregado en el físico de la criatura: el crecimiento de una niña, adolescente y mujer de rostro bien parecido junto a una natural anatomía que permitía entrever, sin duda, una mujer muy atractiva. Las circunstancias por tanto la llevaron a ser modelo y la mejor de su época. Incursionó en el cine, protagonizando, en la película boliviana FUERTES, el papel secundario de la madre de un soldado de la Guerra del Chaco, Pedro Jiménez –Reynaldo Pacheco, actor de cine y teatro radicado en Los Ángeles, California–.
En la entrevista concedida a esta saga de artículos a lo Marcel Proust, aquel escritor que adecuó el famoso cuestionario práctico para caminar más allá de los rostros y avasallar una meta de corazones, Nicia contesto las sencillas preguntas con seguridad y prudencia.
Muy elegante y sensual –la artista a través de sus prendas, lucía una minifalda negra y una camisa blanca muy escotada delgada, sin sujetador, puesta sobre el mismo cuerpo desnudo–, retrotrajo a la modelo hermosa de los años 70. Artista Plástica, con la experiencia en la temática del retrato, asomando sin duda talento y prolijidad en el trazo. Trabajadora tesonera. Un talento sin galas, pero muy sencilla al de todos los artistas. Integra con su honradez y su rigurosa temperancia (no tiene vicios, pero sabe divertirse sanamente con otra virtud que es la de saber cantar y modular con un oído extraordinario).
Nicia es creyente, y su fe en Dios es inquebrantable, antecedente que paradójicamente sumó en los factores que decidieron su vida con éxito y estabilidad. Nicia, por consiguiente ungida por lo artístico y conocedora de la historia del arte; ni superficial ni profunda, luego fácilmente comprensible; escasa para alegría de ella de vibración, o sea, preservada de entusiasmos arriesgados; pero brillante, es decir, concentrada y receptiva; privada de actitudes mezquinas, por consiguiente no acerca pecados capitales, más al contrario es enemiga de la envidia.
Sus rasgos somáticos son de una juvenil formalidad. Ni alta ni baja, fisonomía fuerte sin ser dura, anteojos que funden los cristales con las pupilas vivaces y dulces, y la delicada boca que habla y canta: habla y canta, reitero, con entusiasmo y apasionamiento, regocijo de amigas y amigos que sonríen, equilibran un natural y sencillo trato insondable, generalmente severo y a veces humorístico.
Su origen en el ilustre tronco de los Paravicini-Azero, le pone apellidos distinguidos que los lleva con dignidad y reconocimiento explicado en el amor eterno a sus padres.

Plastic artist, with outstanding experience as a portraitist, and on the other hand ex-model, Nicia María Cristina Pravicini Azero, was born (causally in Rio de Janeiro due to the diplomatic military activity of her father, General Enrique Paravicini Calancha), on the 5th of July 1959 (she is Bolivian by parents and holds dual nationality), under the zodiacal sign of Cancer, therefore in the important itinerary of her life she shows herself to be brilliant and outstanding as a painter and draftsman.
She is an exemplary mother, daughter, sister and friend. I pride myself on having her friendship, an old friendship that was born in 1972. I am a model, not so much on catwalks, but on advertising for the best companies in our country. When that stork landed in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in a maternity clinic, Nicia was born from the conjugal union of General Enrique Paravicini Calancha, an outstanding military man and painter, portraitist and muralist, and Blanca Azero Sanzetenea, a sweet and noble lady.
But the surprise of her birth hinted at an added value in the creature's physique: the growth of a girl, adolescent and woman with a good-looking face together with a natural anatomy that allowed us to glimpse, without a doubt, a very attractive woman. Her circumstances therefore led her to be a model and the best of her time. She ventured into the cinema, starring in the Bolivian film FUERTES, the secondary role of the mother of a Chaco War soldier, Pedro Jiménez –Reynaldo Pacheco, a film and theater actor based in Los Angeles, California–.
In the interview granted to this saga of articles like Marcel Proust, that writer who adapted the famous practical questionnaire to walk beyond faces and overwhelm a goal of hearts, Nicia answered the simple questions with confidence and prudence.
Very elegant and sensual –the artist, through her clothes, wore a black miniskirt and a very low-cut white blouse, thin, without a bra, placed on the same naked body–, she brought back the beautiful model of the 70s. Plastic Artist, with the experience in the theme of the portrait, showing without a doubt talent and neatness in the line. She hard worker. A talent without finery, but very simple to that of all artists. She integrates with her honesty and her rigorous temperance (she has no vices, but she knows how to have fun healthily with another virtue that is knowing how to sing and modulate with an extraordinary ear).
Nicia is a believer, and her faith in God is unshakeable, a precedent that she paradoxically added to the factors that decided her life with success and stability. Nicia, therefore anointed by the artistic and connoisseur of the history of art; neither superficial nor deep, then easily understandable; scarce for her joy of vibration, that is, preserved from risky enthusiasms; but bright, that is, focused and receptive; she deprived of petty attitudes, therefore she does not approach deadly sins, more on the contrary she is the enemy of envy.
Her somatic features are of a youthful formality. Neither tall nor short, strong physiognomy without being hard, glasses that melt the crystals with lively and sweet pupils, and the delicate mouth that speaks and sings: it speaks and sings, I repeat, with enthusiasm and passion, delight of friends and friends who smile, balance a natural and simple unfathomable treatment, generally severe and sometimes humorous.
