Muy joven y rociada de simpatía y personalidad, que coexisten junto a la educación y la información grabados en su gran disco duro enclavado en su cerebro, Natalia Carrizo, respondió el cuestionario a la manera de Marcel Proust.

Cuando parece que la vida imita al arte, es porque el arte ha logrado anunciar la vida, así como los colores en el trajecito de dos piezas de la madre de Natalia Carrizo, cuando viajaba a USA, y que inspiró a la artista a plasmar en una colección de lienzos una obra titulada LA DIABLADA.
Expresiva, hermosa, de ojos vivaces que entremezclan dulzura, ternura, gran sensibilidad y confianza, Natalia permite entrever un “piercing” que adorna su nariz. También llamado “nostril”, el “piercing” asoma en el Medio Oriente, sobre todo en la India y se usa por la creencia que la nariz está conectada a las emociones.
Natalia mira con ojos nuevos, renovados, lo que los demás miramos con vista atufada o sobre segada por la angustia de sobre existir. CASA TOMADA fue la referencia para interesarme del trabajo de tan destacada artista. CASA TOMADA, me recuerda la amistad a la distancia con el escritor Julio Cortázar. CASA TOMADA, me trae a la memoria la casa de la abuela en Cochabamba donde vivió mi hijo Juan-Cristóbal.
Es un voto de confianza hacia un arte fértil; el color invita a un repaso cromático rodeado de imágenes insinuantes, de figuras proyectadas con un sentido no siempre estético propio de los artistas que retienen en la mente esa policromía fascinante del carnaval, de la circunstancia, del detalle, mientras el dibujo confirma que la sombra del hombre contorneada en una pared, fue la primera pintura que existió en la humanidad.
Artista plástica, dedicada a la pintura y la orfebrería, la técnica que utiliza es el acrílico. Natalia es una profesional rociada de talento, ingenio e imaginación. Maneja con maestría los colores y tiene una destacada y acuciosa forma de imprimir el detalle en sus trabajos. No pueden faltar los puntos, como el barroco con algo de puntillismo, enfrentando Carrizo el miedo al vacío en cada cuadro. Cuando pinta murales utiliza más que nada látex y ocasionalmente aerosoles, y los puntos tampoco faltan en ese formato.
Exquisita sensibilidad la suya, capaz de orientarse hacia fines trascendentales, preparados para hacer girar los materiales que Natalia emplea, sobre el insospechado camino del arte, junto al examen sagaz de la conciencia creadora de esta artista.
Con el correr de las agujas del reloj, el tiempo le fue dando las características propias de quienes saben observar las cosas bellas diseminadas por el mundo. En la sensibilidad de su mente creativa, los colores y los detalles se hicieron más fragantes al impulso de trazos seguros en un lienzo siempre sorprendente.
Como orfebre, es Natalia, una maga que, como los grandes alquimistas, convierte el metal plata 950, en bellísimos objetos, desde un anillo, un collar, un brazalete, hasta un violín. Trabaja con microscópica meticulosidad el porcentaje de aleación mínimo y continúa creando con oro y bronce tareas especiales. Es restauradora de joyas a las que les devuelve la vida y el brillo. Disfruta diseñando propuestas nuevas, sin dejar de lado el trabajo tradicional. Incursiona en nuevas técnicas como el vaciado, el bañado en oro y otros. Estos logros han dado nacimiento a la marca creada por Natalia, llamada NATIKILLA.
Natalia Carrizo (la artista ilustra esta crónica a través de un traje sastre negro muy escotado sin sujetador, vistiendo la chaqueta con el torso del cuerpo desnudo), se encarga de diseñar, confeccionar y elaborar joyas utilizando un equipo y una diversidad de materiales ya referidos. Los metales y materiales que constituyen los objetos de orfebrería son piedras preciosas o semipreciosas, la plata y el oro o una mezcla de ambos que en la antigüedad se llamaba electrón o eléctrum, también el cobre y el bronce.
Con los referidos metales Natalia elabora piezas de adorno, joyas, objetos, diademas lisas a modo de cinta, gruesos brazaletes y collares rígidos (o torques) de una pieza, terminada por bolas piriformes, otros collares formados por sartas de bolitas perforadas y, en fin, anillos y aros de forma circular y sencillos, la ornamentación y el gusto son propios de ella.
Si el fin de todo artista es presentar su obra de acuerdo con la sensibilidad que carga ante el panorama abierto a la inspiración dictada por el alma, Natalia basa sus trabajos en una impresión visual motivada en lo espiritual de su mirada.
La topografía de la ciudad de Cochabamba, hace que para llegar hasta el mundo de Natalia, en su taller, haya que ascender por las atractivas avenidas de esta capital, un número y un sendero, como buscando en la montaña, la gruta secreta en que se oficia el rito del arte plástico y orfebre del propicio culto de la obra de Natalia Carrizo.

She is a plastic artist, dedicated to painting and goldsmithing, the technique she uses is acrylic. Natalia is a professional sprinkled with talent, ingenuity and imagination. She masterfully handles colors and has an outstanding and thorough way of printing detail in her work. The points cannot be missing, like the baroque with some pointillism, with Carrizo facing the fear of emptiness in each of her paintings. When she paints murals she mostly uses latex and occasionally aerosols, and dots are not lacking in that format either.
Exquisite sensitivity of hers, hers, capable of orienting itself towards transcendental ends, prepared to rotate the materials that Natalia uses, on the unsuspected path of art, together with the sagacious examination of the creative conscience of this artist.

She works with microscopic meticulousness the minimum alloy percentage and continues to create special tasks with gold and bronze. She is a restorer of jewels to which she restores life and shine. She enjoys designing new proposals, without neglecting traditional work. She ventures into new techniques such as casting, gold plating and others. These achievements have given birth to the brand created by Natalia, called NATIKILLA.
